We developed this wetsuit to meet the needs of the “pure” swimmer. This product offers incredible freedom of movement and a very natural flotation distribution. Thus, all the sensations of swimming are preserved.
Following numerous tests, we chose to use the new Yamamoto #44 SCS neoprene, the softest on the market, on the shoulders and under the arms in order to exploit its extreme flexibility. This neoprene also offers greater longevity than Yamamoto #40 SCS neoprene. We opted for Yamamoto #39 SCS on the body for its light weight (increased buoyancy).
The OWP wetsuit is by FINA for open water racing (ref FINA validation - MK261210)

- Neck, arms and shoulders: 1.5 mm Yamamoto #44 SCS Nano and ultra-soft jersey allowing total freedom of movement.- Cuffs: A fitted cut limits water entry while allowing an ultra-quick transition.
- Body and thighs: 4.5mm Yamamoto #39 SCS
- Zip: invisible and reversed for less water entry and no possibility of “accidental” opening while running
- Calves, knees and back: 3.5mm Yamamoto #39 SCS
- Interior lycra jersey on the body and legs for greater comfort.
- Safety Tapes on the tension areas of the arms and between the legs.
